When a retired couple relocated from California to the historic Westchester complex in Washington DC's Cathedral Heights, we had the privilege of designing their living and family rooms. Our goal was to create warm, cohesive spaces that pay homage to the building's architectural legacy while capturing the effortless sophistication of California living. We struck a balance between refined elegance and relaxed comfort that honors both their new home's history and their West Coast heritage.
